- Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
- Changes in appetite or weight

Thoughtful, personalized depression care
Step 01
Thorough evaluation — not just a checklist
We rule out medical causes, review your full history, and understand your specific presentation before any treatment decision.
Step 02
Personalized medication management
Antidepressants work — but finding the right one takes patience and expertise. We monitor carefully, adjust as needed, and never leave you without support.
Step 03
Long-term partnership
Depression often recurs. We build a relationship with you for the long term — not just until you feel better.

Common questions
Is depression a real medical condition?
Yes. Depression is a medical illness with measurable neurological and biological components. It is not a character flaw, weakness, or choice. Like diabetes or hypertension, it responds to evidence-based treatment.
How long does it take for antidepressants to work?
Most antidepressants take 4-8 weeks to reach full effect. We monitor progress closely and adjust as needed — we don't leave you guessing.
Can I stop taking medication when I feel better?
This is an important conversation to have with your provider. Stopping too early is one of the most common reasons for relapse. We guide you through every transition carefully.
Do you treat treatment-resistant depression?
We evaluate patients who have not responded to previous treatments and discuss options including augmentation strategies. Complex cases are assessed individually.
Is telehealth as effective as in-person for depression?
Yes. Multiple studies confirm telehealth psychiatry is equally effective as in-person for depression treatment. Many patients actually prefer the privacy and comfort of home.
