Is my pattern premenstrual? A symptom reflection

Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is defined by timing — symptoms that rise before your period and ease once it begins. This quick reflection helps you see whether your symptoms follow that pattern, so you can bring something concrete to a conversation with a clinician.

This is not a diagnosis or a test. It's an educational reflection, not the validated DRSP and not a substitute for evaluation by a licensed professional. Nothing you enter is saved, sent, or seen by anyone — it stays in your browser and disappears when you close this page.
If you're in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, please don't wait. Call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), any time. PMDD can bring intense low mood before a period — you deserve support now, not next cycle.

Rate your symptoms in two parts of your cycle

For each symptom, rate how it usually feels in the week before your period and during the rest of your cycle. The difference between the two is what matters most.
